SRINAGAR LASSI [Hand-drawn patterns]

A packaging project that was inspired by the paisley patterns originating from Kashmir, India. Lassi is a popular traditional dahi-based drink that originated in the Indian subcontinent, and is a blend of yogurt, water, spices and sometimes fruit. The packaging design was meant to feel authentically Indian, and the colors are based on the fruit flavor of the Lassi. Originally the color explorations I was trying were based on the mood board shown below, but by their final form the colors were inspired more by the fruit. The paisley patterns are hand-drawn!
